I received a phone call this evening from a friend who asked if i was busy or not.
My response was, Yes ” I am busy”
He went ahead to ask what i was doing,that made me that busy and to his surprise, i told him that i was thinking.
Off course he laughed it off and said “Tuleke Nawe” (directly translated as Leave us alone, in a mocking way)
I didnt feel upset because i know i was in the same boat a few years ago until i started setting apart some few minutes everyday to just think.
I however figured that there are many friends of mine out there that would have laughed at me for making myself busy “Mbu” thinking.

I would like to give you a few Benefits of Critical Thinking
A well-cultivated critical thinker:
1. Raises vital questions and problems, formulating them clearly and precisely;
2. Gathers and assesses relevant information, using abstract ideas to interpret it effectively comes to well-reasoned conclusions and solutions, testing them against relevant criteria and standards;
3. Thinks open-mindedly within alternative systems of thought, recognizing and assessing, as need be, their assumptions, implications, and practical consequences; and
4. Communicates effectively with others in figuring out solutions to complex problems.

God Bless you as you set 5,10,20,30,40 minutes just for, #Thinking.

Share the love.
